Add GTM Code to Your Theme

  1. Get the code snippets by installing Google Tag Manager. Then, copy and paste them into your store. Since Shopify uses templates, you only need to copy them to checkout.liquid, and theme.liquid files.
    • In case you already installed GTM, then find code snippets by clicking Admin > Install Google Tag Manager.
  2. In Shopify, log in and click on Online store > Themes. In the drop-down menu, click on Edit code.
